The association has been in existence for 60 years. Its objectives are to monitor proposed developments in the area, gather local opinion and represent the interests of all residents in co-operation with other persons, societies and associations, and to keep residents of Hill Head informed of local matters.

Membership is open to any person over 18 years interested in furthering the objectives. The annual subscription is only £1 per household.

HHRA meets four times a year, on the fourth Monday of January (AGM), April, July and October at 8pm in the Roman Catholic Church Hall in Bells Lane. The Committee also meets as required between meetings to discuss emergent matters of concern.

Representation is made by HHRA at council planning meetings and through correspondence as appropriate.
